The following patterns are intended for making bookmarks. You can make your first bookmarks out of semi-transparent milk jugs or water jugs and then use those as templates or patterns for other materials such as old photographs, wood or metal. Inside designs can be either cut out or painted. Nail polish or plastic model paints are recommended if you are using plastic jugs as your bookmarks. With wood or metal you can use either a router, engraving or etching tool.
The above pattern is designed to be printed out on a 8 1/2" X 11 standard paper in landscape mode. The bookmarks are 5 1/2" tall and 1 1/2" wide, but you can print whatever size you want.
